Help & FAQ

How My City Real Estate Guide works. For questions about buying a home, see our buying guides.

About the site

What is My City Real Estate Guide?

A website for finding new residential and commercial projects, comparing them on carpet area and price, and contacting the developer directly. We list 1166 live projects today.

Which cities do you cover?

Projects are live in Ahmedabad (908), Gandhinagar (258). Most of our listings are in Ahmedabad.

What kind of properties do you list?

New and under-construction projects from developers: flats, penthouses, bungalows, villas, plots, shops and offices. We do not currently list resale homes or properties for rent.

Do you own or sell the properties?

No. The projects belong to their developers. We publish the project details and pass your enquiry to the developer, who sells the home to you directly.

Do I pay anything to use the site?

No. Browsing, comparing and enquiring are free for buyers, with no brokerage and no listing fee. Developers pay us when we introduce a buyer, and paying us does not buy a better position in search results or a verification badge.

Searching and comparing

How do I search for a property?

Type a project, area, city or developer name in the search box; small spelling mistakes are fine. Then narrow the results by home size (BHK), budget, possession status and property type.

How do I find a 2 BHK under ₹50 lakh in Ahmedabad?

Open the page for that search, such as 2 BHK flats under ₹50 lakh in Ahmedabad, or pick an area first and use the "Narrow your search" links for size, budget and possession status.

How do I find ready-to-move flats?

Every city and area has a ready-to-move page, for example ready-to-move projects in Ahmedabad, and the search filters include possession status.

How do I compare projects?

Tap Compare on up to three projects, then open the compare page to see prices, carpet areas, possession dates, specifications and amenities side by side.

Why do you show carpet area?

Carpet area is the usable floor inside your walls, and RERA requires flats to be sold on it. Quoting carpet area, never super built-up, means two projects compare on the same basis.

Can I save properties?

Yes. Sign in with a buyer account and tap Save on any project; your saved projects are on the Saved page. You do not need an account to browse or enquire.

Can I calculate the EMI for a project?

Yes. Each project page has an EMI calculator where you set the loan amount, interest rate and tenure.

Listings, verification and trust

What does "Platform Verified" mean?

We have checked that the RERA registration number exists and its state prefix matches where the project is, that sizes and prices come from the developer or the RERA filing, and that the photos and possession date match the registered project.

What does "Verified" by the developer mean?

The developer has also confirmed that the project page is correct. It is shown only after that confirmation.

Does a verified badge mean the property has clear title?

No. We are not a regulator and we do not check title or land records. Check the RERA registration yourself and have a lawyer review the documents before you pay anything.

Is the price on the listing final?

It is the price the developer last confirmed with us. Prices change and extra charges such as parking, maintenance deposit and taxes may apply, so ask the developer for the full price sheet in writing.

Is the project still available?

Where the developer shares it, the project page shows how many homes of each size are left and when that was last updated. Confirm availability with the developer before visiting.

What is the data-completeness marker on a project page?

It shows how much of the project information the developer has published, so you can see what is still missing before you rely on the page.

How do I report a wrong or suspicious listing?

Email mycityrealestateguide@gmail.com or call +91 92743 53580 with the page link and what looks wrong. Do not pay anyone a token amount while the question is open.

Enquiries, site visits and privacy

How do I contact a developer?

Use Enquire, Call or WhatsApp on the project page. An enquiry needs only your name and phone number; no account is required.

How quickly will I hear back?

Typically within 2 working hours, by phone. You also get a reference number when you send the enquiry.

Can I visit the site before booking?

Yes. Tick the site-visit option when you enquire and the developer will arrange a time with you.

Who sees my phone number?

Only the developer of the project you enquire about, and our team. We never sell your number. With your enquiry we also share which projects and home sizes you looked at on the site, so the developer can help you faster.

How do you use my data?

Our privacy policy explains what we collect, including anonymous usage statistics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and how enquiries are shared.

For developers

Can I list my project?

Yes, if you are the developer. Contact us at mycityrealestateguide@gmail.com or +91 92743 53580 and we will set up a developer account. Individual owners and resale listings are not accepted at the moment.

What do developers see?

A dashboard with their enquiries, each with what the buyer looked at on the site, and project insights: visitors, where they came from, calls, WhatsApp clicks, brochure downloads and the projects buyers compared them with.
